Video from founders, CEOs, visionaries, brand kings!

Corrigo and IFSM exhibited last month at the QuickBooks Connect 2015 in San Jose. This was an excellent event with lots of success stories and inspirational nuggets for small and mid-sized businesses. The show was opened by Sekou Andrews/Poetic Voice and Entrepreneur, who did a great job capturing the many roles and challenges small businesses owners face each day and energized the audience for the event. Oprah Winfrey was the keynote speaker who spoke from the heart about intention, energy, brand, and so much more.  Speakers included Bill Rancic/The Apprentice, Jessica Alba & Brian Lee/The Honest Company, Brad Smith/CEO of Intuit, Scott Cook/Founder of Intuit, and Robert Herjavec/Shark Tank. In case you missed the live event, Intuit has posted most of the speakers’ videos online, here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVxBmyedTVhQyNtMuifv5mxAT4UT0qfck

Update Work Order Numbering

By | 2017-08-11T16:13:56-07:00 October 22nd, 2015|Getting Started, User Tips|0 Comments

When you first subscribe to Intuit Field Service Management you will likely review our First Time Setup video.  While not covered in the video, we want to point out you can configure your work orders in IFSM to start at a number other than “001”.  You can also configure how many digits the work order numbers will have before they roll over to “000”.  You can also configure a unique prefix for work orders within each work zone.

To update the Work Order Numbering:

  1. Go to Settings/Work Zones and click Edit on the right side
  2. Scroll down to option 5, Work Order Numbering
  3. Choose Custom and click Change
  4. Input the desired starting number and choose the desired number of digits from the drop-down menu. Work Order Numbering detail

Create New Customers In The Field

By | 2017-08-11T16:13:59-07:00 August 25th, 2015|Android, Getting Started, iPhone, Mobile|0 Comments

This video shows how your field service technician can create a new customer in the field via the Intuit Field Service Management mobile app.

Typically your office dispatcher or your QuickBooks user(s) create new customers.  However, sometimes your field service techs may need to create a new customer in the field.  Once the customer is created the tech can proceed with the “work order wizard” to capture the problem and assign the work order to himself/herself.  (Note:  the Field Supervisor role can use the mobile app “Team Work” menu area to re-assign team work.)
